Leipzig biofuel expert talk 2025

20 Years Towards Climate Neutrality in Germany | Renewable Energies in Transport - Prospects and Challenges

The Leipzig Biofuels Symposium 2025 focused on comparing the future demand for fuels for transport sectors that are difficult to electrify with the available biological and non-biological resources and production technologies, and on discussing the associated challenges with representatives from politics, research and industry. A highlight of the symposium was the publication and presentation of our new DBFZ monitoring report "Renewable Energies in Transport".

The event took place on 19 March 2025 from 9:30 to 13:30 at the DBFZ.
