Field of work
Jasmin Kalcherhas been working at the DBFZ since spring 2017. She completed her studies in forestry at the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (HSWT). After studying renewable resources at Technische Universität München (TUM), she worked at BOKU Vienna in an EU project to determine waste wood potential. Her field of work at the DBFZ is the determination of biomass potentials at regional and national level. Her focus is on GIS-based analyses of the spatial distribution of biogenic resources. In cooperation with national and international project partners, she is also developing e-learning courses on the handling and practical use of open (geo)data.
