Work group leader
Field of work
Since 03/2024 Dr.-Ing. Claudia Kirsten has been work group leader of the working group "Mechanical Benification Processes" and deputy head of the Thermo-chemical Conversion department. She has been responsible for the research and development of alternative and high-quality biomass solid fuels since 08/2008. She has been involved in numerous national and international projects and is particularly concerned with optimising the product properties and the production process of compacts from biogenic residues and waste materials. Accordingly, she is the scientific contact person for the fuel conditioning lab at DBFZ.
