Development of a roadmap for sustainable heat generation with biomass in Togo and demonstration of selected technologies along the entire usage path
The overarching objective of the HeRoTogo project is to create a roadmap for sustainable heat generation from biomass in Togo. The roadmap shall describe alternative, and more efficient technology and resource-use paths in contrast to the current overuse of the country's forest resources. In order to estimate the climate- and environmental-related improvements of possible measures compared to the status quo, identified key technologies will be tested for suitability across the entire process chain under real-life conditions.
