Quality management
Excellent research results require the use of modern traceable measurement methods and traceable data processing as well as effective and efficient processes for the scientific and administrative processing of research projects.
In addition to the regular review and optimization of internal and external processes and the support of the staff in the implementation of internal quality standards, the quality assurance of scientific work is the main focus.
The employees of the quality management support the researchers in the provision and use of suitable valid measurement and test procedures as well as their traceability to national standards. Furthermore, the secure recording, transfer and storage of the generated test results (primary data) is ensured in accordance with the applicable rules of good scientific practice. Quality assurance also includes regular participation in internal and external comparison measurements and interlaboratory comparisons.
The quality managers, the test equipment representatives and the quality management representative work together with other experts of the DBFZ and other institutions for this purpose.
The quality management system of the DBFZ is certified according to ISO 9001:2015.
